In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
When the help of Allah and the victory comes,
and you see people entering Allah's religion in crowds,
then praise your Lord and ask Him to forgive. Truly, He always welcomes those who turn back to Him.
About An-Nasr
An-Nasr means "the help" or "the victory." It is the 110th surah, just three verses long, and it carries a beautiful lesson about how to handle success.
The surah describes a wonderful moment: Allah's help arrives, victory comes, and people enter Islam in great crowds. After many years of difficulty, hearts opened to Islam and people accepted it group after group.
Then comes the lesson. When that success arrives, how should a believer respond? Not with pride, but by praising Allah and asking for His forgiveness. An-Nasr teaches children that every good thing comes from Allah, so we thank Him and stay humble. Many scholars say it was one of the last surahs revealed.
Many scholars say An-Nasr was among the very last surahs revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It arrived near the end of his life, like a gentle sign that his mission was nearly complete, and a reminder to meet success with thanks and humility.
